Explosion Box!

Hi there friends,

Sharing with you a Explosion box which I have tried for the first time :)
It was supposed to be made for a gentleman - that's why I have stuck to some masculine shades sans the flowers and butterflies :)

It is a Birthday themed explosion box with 3 layers!
The outermost has his pictures, the middle one has some beautiful birthday quotes and the innermost layer has digital stamps of cupcakes, gifts, balloons and a empty tag for personal wishes to be written on.
The center has a layered cake with "chocolate icing" on it :)

Challenges entered : Color Conceptions- Anything but cards
Crafters Corner - 3D
Make My Monday - One for the Boys

Hope you all like it :)

Love,
Rohini

"Your Birthday is the happiest day of my life!"

Hello Friends,

I have been away from the blog world for a very long time now! Not that I have not been creating, just that I have not been active here. I had made this Mini scrapbook for a friend who wanted to gift his wife something special for her first birthday after marriage.
This is a cute one :)

The cover page has PP in paisley design. It is gold and brown in colour. I have kept the sentiment to a minimal - Happy Birthday!

A closer view of the bunch, butterflies and the pearls.

The first page. The left side has a tag where personal wishes can be written.

The next page is a honey comb! The sentiment says Bee Mine :)

                                                            More tags and pockets.

A flap to open up which has a pic inside.

The last page has a accordion card. The left side has an empty space to write down a personal message.
And finally the box in which this pretty went :)

Challenges Entered - Color Conceptions - Anything but cards
Beyond Grey - Grown with love  - I have used the colours red, yellow/gold, green, white throughout the project and the garden element is of course the butterfly :)

Hugs and Cheers,
Rohini :)
