Well begun is half done ! And what better way to start the New Year with a customized Calendar which binds in it quite a handful of lovely memories and occasions.
This Calendar is special to me because of various reasons :
1. My first craft item for the year.
2. A surprise for my parents which they will receive shortly.
3. An adorable compliment from my better half saying "Can we photo copy and use it":)
To start with, I have used color and patterned papers for creating sentiments for different months.
Embellishments
1. For January , February , May and October I have quilled flower patterns matching the background.
2. For June , July and November I have used ribbons in the similar hues which add vibrance to the sheet.
3. On most of the sheets I have added sequins to make them sparkle!
4. On papers where I have added snaps , I have tried to keep the embellishments to a minimal so that the snaps are the main attraction.
5. Snaps and Stickers have been added to papers which signify purpose like Birthdays , Emotions and Anniversaries. Personal touch and customized to the core!
Have a sneak peak into the final product which has been captured beautifully with lens by my husband :).
-Wishing you a thousand smiles :)
